About the book
She'd do anything to save her father! Aldona's father's life hung in the balance and she had to help him--even if it meant selling herself to a man she despised. Traveling with Lionel Downs to Malta as his wife was the price she must pay. While there, she met Zeb, who hated Lionel even more than she did and who was willing to buy her freedom--for a price of his own! Zeb offered her shelter but not safety, for he demanded not just her body, but also her heart and soul.
